Check out one of the movies that the library plans to show within the next several weeks.

On Friday, June 17 at 1 p.m., gather for a showing of the classic film One Hour With You, a musical comedy with hints of seriousness starring Maurice Chevalier and Janette MacDonald. The following Friday, the 24th, at the same time, spend some time with a more intense film. In True Grit, follow 14-year-old Mattie on her journey to capture her father’s killer.

Listen to interviews with journalists, politicians, key financial insiders and other important and competent individuals in this field with the showing of Insider Job on Monday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m.

July 1 is a double-header Friday for films at the library. At both 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., watch Inception, nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. Leonardo DiCaprio’s character and his clan go on a wild adventure through the world of dreams. Hold your breath as the crew encounters one obstacle after another in beyond intense circumstances and situations.

Still struggling with finding a film to fulfill your fancy? Borrow one of the movies that the library has in stock. Titles are varied, but include such favorites as ER: The Complete Fourteenth Season, Bambi, Dinners for Schmucks and Life As We Know It.
