What Can't East Meadow Live Without?

Community members weigh in on a hot Twitter topic.

Today on Twitter, a hot topic of discussion is what people can't live without, #icantgoadaywithout. Patch polled many community members to see what they need on an everyday basis. Here's what we came up with.

Shelley Lotenberg (Spokeswoman for NUMC)

  • Since we are a 24/7 facility, I would have to say we cannot go a day without our Blackberry.

  • I can't go a day without watching the birds feed on the seed we place (like a buffet) on our sidewalk each morning at 7 a.m. And apparently, they can't go a day without it either!

Michael Ganci (East Meadow Patch Editor)

  • I can't go a day without my daily fill of Law and Order: SVU, as well as a good glass of orange juice. Those are my two loves in life.

Carol Probeyahn (Director of East Meadow Public Library)

  • I cannot go a day without coffee!!  Two cups please, milk no sugar…

Carol Nissenbaum (East Meadow Patch Copy Editor)

  • I can't go a day without having my dog lick my nose, which is how she kisses. Unfortunately she is at the dog sitter's for a week while we are having work done in the house and I am so sad without her.

Robert Rollins (Patch Contributor)

  • I can't go a day without waiting for the NFL Lockout to end.

Paula Cea (Young Adult Librarian at EMPL)

  • I can't go a day without coffee!

Antonetta Campbell

  • I can't go a day without my Blackberry. It has all my important info from my own to my children and mostly my daily/weekly reminders.

Bill Alderman

  • I can't go a  day without a morning kiss from my beautiful, loving wife and a call from my amazing son!
