4.Cops: Reckless Driver Arrested in East Meadow: Tomas Menjivar, 25, of Huntington Station was arrested in East Meadow after Nassau County police said they had to take evasive action to avoid being hit by him.

3.Police: East Meadow Man Blinded Restaurant Worker in Assault: Premaras Selvaratnam, 31, of East Meadow was arrested for an October assault that left a 36-year-old Hicksville restaurant employee blind in one eye.

2.UPDATE: Car Accident Causes Fire at BP Gas Station:  A fire broke out at BP Gas Station on Hempstead Turnpike as a result of a car accident early Tuesday afternoon.

1.East Meadow Woman Marches in Inaugural Parade:Judy D'Achille, an East Meadow resident for about 20 years and a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI), was one many puppy raisers chosen to march in Monday's Presidential Inaugural Parade.

there was an article on the old patch about how Canz was interested in buying the building at theRead More auction. You can see it in a google search but the link doesn't open up, i guess maybe because it was on the old patch.
