"What's the story with all the political litter at the corner of East Meadow Ave and Hempstead Turnpike? It makes that area look terrible," an East Meadow Patch reader asked.
"The planter under the corner sign is always overgrown with weeds. The politicians are adding insult to injury by posting their political sign there," Jeanne Shea Herring added when she left a comment on our Speak Out board.
