Oct 11: Crime Report, Fall Festival in East Meadow

The five things you should know today.

1. Find out what happened in East Meadow in the Crime Report at 2 p.m.

2. In case you missed it, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County (CCE) will hold its first Fall Farm Festival on the East Meadow Farms property on Friday and Saturday.

3. The Eisenhower Dog Park will open in East Meadow on Saturday. Tell us what you think about it opening in Sound Off at 10 a.m.

4. East Meadow residents have said that crickets have been seen in their homes. East Meadow Patch has some ways that you can rid of the creatures.

5. Friday is the last day to register to vote in New York State. So, register ASAP to allow your voices to be heard!
