NUHealth Launches Social Media Initiative

The public benefit corporation, which manages Nassau University Medical Center, will launch its "Talking Well" campaign on Facebook and Twitter.

NUHealth, a public benefit corporation that manages the operations of Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, has recently unveiled its "Talking Well" social media campaign that will launch on Facebook and Twitter this month. The initiative will allow patients to manage medical services and records easily.

“We are eager to broaden our conversation with our community on these dynamic formats, exchanging health tips, insights and information to better serve our patients and their families,” Arthur Gianelli, president of NuHealth said. “By integrating our ‘Talking Well’ campaign on these two platforms we gain the unparalleled access social media has to offer as we effectively communicate our commitment to our community’s continued wellness and peace of mind.”

The campaign will also allow NuHealth department heads and staff to share first-hand accounts of state-of-the-art surgeries and provide valuable community resources in the promotion of wellness and healthy choices in lifestyle, fitness and nutrition.

“We are committed to the continued health and well-being of our community,"  Gianelli said.
