NuHealth Employee Recognized By US Coast Guard

Ronald Tomo, NuHealth's chief information officer, was honored for his support of the Coast Guard in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

Ronald Tomo, the chief finical officer of NuHealth was recently recognized by the US Coast Guard for his contributions and support of the Coast Guard's Communication Area Master Station Atlantic (CAMSLANT) in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

Tomo was was presented with a certificate by Capt. Frank E. Pedras, Jr., commanding officer of CAMSLANT, which provides technical communications assistance and training to other Coast Guard units.

Through your dedicated and unselfish efforts you ensured that vital calling and distress communications were available by providing the critical monitoring of high frequency distress channels, Pedras told Tomo.  "Your efforts ensured CAMSLANT was able to live up to its motto of 'No Call Unanswered.'”
