Nov. 29: Bellmore Post Office Reopens, Sonic, Basketball Preview
Some things to keep an eye on in the local community.
- The Bellmore Post Office reopened Monday after being closed for two months. Part of the structure collapsed when a man driving a Newsday delivery truck crashed into the building at 2611 Merrick Road. For the full story, click here.

- Head on over to Bellmore Memorial Library at 7 p.m. for some Poets in Nassau. Each session features a poet followed by an open mic during which residents are encouraged to bring your own poems and share them with others.
