Nov. 10: Synthetic Turf Fields, Vacant Stores, Jobs

Some things to keep an eye out for in the local community.

  1. Synthetic turf fields for the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District athletes have been a hot topic for a number of years.At almost every board meeting, there is a mention of turf or a question about it. Do you want the district to move forward on it? Vote in our Patch poll!
  2. Many shopping centers in East Meadow share a common problem these days – store vacancies. But, one site in town is slowly filling up with tenants who draw in steady business. Click the link to find out more.
