Nov. 1: FEMA Aid Available to Residents, TOH Cleanup

The five things you should know today.


1. The Federal Emergency Management Agency issued a statement that said disaster aid is available to East Meadow area residents and business owners who incurred damage from Superstorm Sandy this week.

2. The Town of Hempstead announced on Wednesday that early half of the downed trees had been cleared from town roadways by the highway department.


3. In case you missed it, the County announced that it will host its “Hurricane Sandy Trick-or-Treat Halloween Party” on Saturday.
