He's only seven years old, but he's already saving lives. David Chavez, a third grade student at Stokes Elementary School, has been credited for saving his grandfather's life because of his quick thinking. A Plainedge Middle School student was able to walk out of school undetected Wednesday, and was found outside the building after Nassau police were notified, school officials said.
