May 5: Cinco De Mayo, Moe's, Little League Parade

Good morning East Meadow. Just one more day until we reach the weekend, so let's take a look at what's happening on this Cinco De Mayo in East Meadow today.

1. Weather: There will be isolated showers after 1 p.m. in East Meadow, according to the National Weather Service. Experts call for a 20 percent chance of precipitation with winds possibly exceeding 20 mph.

2. As a special Cinco De Mayo treat, will be giving out free shirts to the first 100 people in attendance starting at 11 a.m. today. The first person to send me a photo of themself wearing the shirt will have their photo posted on Patch, and they will also win a Patch prize. Email Michael.Ganci@patch.com!

3. Badfish, a famed tribute band to Sublime, will take the stage at Mulcahy's of Wantagh. When Sublime's lead singer Bradley Nowell passed away, several tribute bands formed in their honor but none became quite as popular as Badfish. The show begins at 8 p.m.!
