Things to keep an eye out for in East Meadow today.

Good morning East Meadow! There's plenty going on in the local community, so let's take a quick look at what's happening in the town where we call home...East Meadow!

1. Weather: It's going to be yet another ugly day in East Meadow today, according to the National Weather Service. Isolated showers are expected, with thunderstorms possibly arriving after 4 p.m. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

2. Nassau Community College and the will be at the school from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today. The "celebrate summer" blood drive looks to replenish the supply in a season when demand is typically high.
