May 17: Budget Vote, Trustee Elections, Grandma

Some things to keep an eye out for on this busy Tuesday.

Good morning East Meadow! On this busy Tuesday, there is plenty going through East Meadow residents' minds. How are you going to vote on the school elections? Here are a few things to keep an eye out for today.

1. Weather: It projects to be a rather ugly Tuesday in East Meadow, with rain and possibly a thunderstorm moving into the area, according to the National Weather Service.  The chance of precipitation is 80 percent, and rainfall accumulations could hit one inch in East Meadow.

2. to your local polling place to place your vote for the East Meadow School District proposed 2011-12 budget. Polls open at 7 a.m. and they will close shop at 9 p.m.

3. Trustees Joseph Danenza and Corey Fanelli for new three-year terms. You can vote either for or against them at the polling places as well.
