Some things to keep an eye out for in the local community.

  1. The mother of an Iraq war veteran who committed suicide at the Nassau County Correctional Center on Feb. 28 has filed suit against the jail and Nassau County for "the personal injuries and wrongful death of her son." For the full story, click here.
