Mangano to Be Honored For Contributions to Hispanic Community in East Meadow

County Executive Edward Mangano will be awarded by the organization, Hispanic Family Values (Valores de la Famila Hispana).

County Executive Edward Mangano will be honored by the organization, Hispanic Family Values (Valores de la Famila Hispana), for his devotion, leadership and service to the Hispanic and faith based community in Nassau County.

Mangano will be given the the the organization's most prestigious honor, the Valores Award, in a ceremony at  New Covenant Church in East Meadow on Thursday. 

Valores Awards are given to individuals who have demonstrated leadership, kindness and prestige in their communities.

The organization will award Mangano for his many contributions to the Hispanic community such as creating jobs and giving Hispanics of Nassau County opportunities to celebrate cultural events such as Hispanic Heritage Month and Latino Night Nassau.

Hispanic Family Values is an organization that represents the Hispanic and faith based community in the United States. VFHUSA hosts regular award events to honor individuals who make extraordinary contributions and make a real difference in their communities.
