Mangano to Address Businesses on Assistance Programs

The county executive will hold a conference in East Meadow on Thursday, in which he will speak on the New York State-based grant program for Sandy affected businesses.

County Executive Edward Mangano will hold a conference in East Meadow on Thursday, in which he will brief the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce and member business owners throughout the area on assistance programs.

Mangano will speak on the New York State-based grant program for Sandy affected businesses as well as other relief programs that are available through the federal and state government, National Grid, the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency and the Small Business Administration.

Agency representatives will also be available to discuss how businesses can access assistance programs.

Mangano will speak at Bristol Assisted Living on 40 Merrick Ave. in East Meadow on Thursday at 8 a.m.
