LIPA: More Than 8,000 Without Power in East Meadow
According to LIPA, 8,853 customers have no power.
The Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) is reporting that 231,954 homes and businesses in the Town of Hempstead including 8,853 in East Meadow are without power as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.
To report a power outage, contact LIPA online at www.lipower.org and by phone at 1-800-490-0075.
