Update: More than 5,000 Still Without Power in East Meadow

According to LIPA reports, that 1,468 customers had their power restored.

The Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) is reporting that 5, 850 customers in East Meadow are still without power as of 4 p.m. Thursday.

Around 9 a.m. on Thursday, 7,318 were without power.
