LIPA: More Than 2,000 Still Remain Without Power in East Meadow

Nine days after Hurricane Sandy hit, thousands of residents are dealing with power outages.

The Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) is reporting that 2,908 customers in East Meadow are still without power as of 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, 3,142 were without power.

And on tues it reported that 4000 were out of power in east meadow. I don't think LIPA really knows how many people are out.

What good is a diagram with markers if there is no key for what the markers mean?
