A look at some things to keep an eye out for today in East Meadow.

Good morning East Meadow! We hope you had a great weekend, but it's time for us to get back into the groove for the beginning of the work week. Here are some things to keep an eye out for in East Meadow today.

1. Weather: It's going to be a nice day today, with a slight chance of showers after noon, according to the National Weather Service. Experts say the chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

2. Interested in having your child participate in summer swimming at the pool? begins tonight at 6:30 p.m. for all levels except guppies (which requires registration on the first day of class - either July 8 or July 9). The first swim session runs from June 22 to July 19, with lifeguard training ending on Aug. 10 or Aug. 11.
