July 8: Tangled, Beach Service, Jobs

Good morning East Meadow and thank goodness it's Friday! Before we celebrate the weekend, there's plenty happening today in East Meadow. Let's take a quick look at some things to keep an eye out for.

1. Weather: Once again, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon, in East Meadow today, according to the National Weather Service. Experts say the chance of rain is 30 percent.

2. As part of the Friday Features Film, the will be holding a screening of  (PG, 100 mins) on July 8 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

3. Join Temple B'nai Torah of Wantagh for the today. Meet at the temple at 6 p.m. to follow the caravan down to TOBAY beach. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. and feature plenty of sand, praying and music. For additional information, please call 516-221-2370.
