July 14: Harry Potter Day, Almost Queen, Business Q&A

Good morning East Meadow! It's a big day in East Meadow as we edge closer to the weekend. Let's take a look at some things that are going on in the local community.

1. Weather: We're due for another nice day in East Meadow, according to the National Weather Service. The experts are calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 86 degrees.

2. The will be holding a to celebrate the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I Wii Game for teens to play. From 7-8 p.m., "Harry Potter Scene It" will be available in the young adult room.

3. As part of the Town of Hempstead Neighborhood Concert Series, Almost Queen, a Queen tribute band, in Seaford's Seamans Neck Park at 8 p.m. This event is free.
