July 13: Beatles Tribute, Jump for Joy, How Well Do YOU Know

A look at some things to keep an eye out for today.

Good morning East Meadow! As we have come halfway through the week, the weekend is in sight. Here's a look at some things happening on this Wednesday to keep us busy.

1. Weather: The rain is gone today, weather experts say. According to the National Weather Service, we're going to have mostly sunny skies with a high of 86 degrees in East Meadow.

2. As part of the Town of Hempstead Neighborhood Concert Series, Liverpool Shuffle, a Beatles tribute band, in Wantagh's Forest City Park at 8 p.m. This event is free.

3. The Children's Room will be holding "Jump for Joy" for children who are between 3 years of age and those not yet in kindergarten at 11:15 a.m. Children will be able to play games, dress up in costumes and much more. The class is lead by Joy Oddo.
