Jan. 31: Jail Arrest, Wedding Awards, Whiz Kid

Some things to keep an eye on in the local community.

  1. A Freeport man was arrested Friday near the front gate of Nassau County's Correctional Center after he refused to shut his phone off. A physical struggle ensued. For the full story, check back with East Meadow Patch at 12 p.m.
