Here's what is going on in East Meadow on Friday.

As children celebrate the arrival of Friday, parents are not going to look forward to the morning commute to work as the snow continues to fall. Here's what's going on in East Meadow on this freezing Friday.

1. Weather: We woke up to the white stuff on the ground this morning, and the National Weather Service is saying that it is projected to continue through 11 a.m. The high is expected to hit 34 degrees before conditions get awfully chilly tonight.

2. The are back at the at 4 p.m. today. The program, designed for children in grades 1-5, gives kids a judgment-free audience to work on their reading skills.
