Jan. 18: Psychic, Book Club and Foreign Language Exams

Here's what's going on in East Meadow on this Tuesday.

As businesses reopen, and kids go back to school, East Meadow continues to be a center of events for Nassau County. There are plenty of things to be aware of today, and feel free to share some of your own in the comments section.

1. Weather: It's going to be an ugly day in East Meadow. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 100 percent chance of precipitation, with snow and freezing rain pounding East Meadow before 9 a.m., and then just rain after that. The high for today is going to approach 40, so some of the snow on the ground just may be washed away.

2. Have you ever had a psychic reading done before? Well, if not, Tuesday is your chance because will be at at 6 p.m. For $59, you can enjoy a psychic reading followed by a hot buffet at the East Meadow eatery.

3. A new tween book club at the at 7:15 p.m. All sixth and seventh graders are invited to attend.
