Garage Sales In and Around East Meadow This Weekend
As the old saying goes, someone's trash could be your treasure.
Garage sale season is in full swing. Here are some happening this weekend in and around East Meadow. If we missed any, post them on our boards to the right and be sure to include the date, time, address and what’s being sold.
Where: 2378 5th St., East Meadow
When: Sept. 20-22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What: Emptying all contents of garage and most in house: Furniture, clothes, household items including linens, dinnerware, glassware, mirror, knick-knacks, framed prints, as well as garden tools, LP records, books, etc.
Where: 1540 Maeder Ave., North Merrick
When: Sept. 20-21, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What: Collectibles, knick knacks, household items, small furniture, pictures/framed art, Boyd Bears, wheel chair (perfect condition). Small bills only accepted.
Where: 121 Tullamore Road, Garden City
When: September 20-21, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What: Two-family garage sale featuring antiques, jewelry, toys, designer clothing, housewares, plus lots more.
When: Saturday September 21, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: The mother of all garage sales, single family, but filled with high end items. Everything from printers, space heaters and other electronics to collectible home pieces and beautiful designer children's clothes. The list goes on.
Where: Twin Lawns Avenue at Bethpage Road, Hicksville
When: Sept. 21
What: Moving sale - household items, sporting goods, exercise equipment, Pro-Form treadmill, clothing, pocketbooks, shoes and dress boots, gardening supplies and more.
