Feb. 8: Israeli Dance, History Celebration and A New Heart Center

It's an eventful Tuesday here in East Meadow. As the better part of Monday saw pleasant temperatures, East Meadow residents are hoping that more days like that are soon to come. Unfortunately for us, that day is not today. Here's what's going on today in East Meadow.

1. Weather: There's a slight chance of rain or snow before noon, and then later in the day should be just snow, according to the National Weather Service. Don't worry though...no accumulation is expected.

2. February is black history month, and today, the Town of Hempstead with a celebration at Hempstead Town Hall. The festivities are set to begin at 3 p.m.
