St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church hosts an "Evening of Taize Prayer" on Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. The session will last about an hour and will be sure to relax all.
Taize Prayer will include dimly lit lights, candles, silent prayers and traditional chanting. This type of prayer allows parishioners a way to find peace and serenity in the middle of a hectic schedule. The chanting is short and meditative, often sang in unity.
