An East Meadow woman was recently honored by the Town of Hempstead for her years of dedication.
Kathy Sefchek, a former representative of the Town of Hempstead's Department of Planning and Economic Development ,was given a citation by Councilwoman Dorothy L. Goosby.
She was recognized by the town during her retirement party as she celebrated with family and friends.
