East Meadow to Celebrate Pride Day This Weekend

The event will take place on Saturday at Senator Speno Memorial Park.

The 22nd Annual East Meadow Community Pride Day will take place on Saturday. 

The day will include a health fair, an art show, children's activities and games, demonstrations, sports events, safety tips, food and live music.  

Sponsored and organized by the East Meadow Kiwanis Club and the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, the event is supported by more 50 businesses and local organizations.

East Meadow Community Pride Day will take place at Senator Speno Memorial Park at 745 East Meadow Ave. on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Free bus shuttle from Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Prospect Avenue and East Meadow Avenue will be available.   For more information call Kiwanis co-chairpersons Alan Beinhacker at (516) 647-4798 or Liz Fries at (516) 359-4269.
