East Meadow Public Library will host a bus trip to the Cirque du Soleil – Totem show at Big Top Citi Field on April 11. Tickets go on sale at the library on Tuesday, March 12.
Cirque du Soleil–Totem traces the journey of the human species from the amphibian state to its desire to fly. Inspired by many myths, Totem "illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species."
The day trip will cost $77 which will include transportation, gratuities, and tickets. Lunch will not be included and patrons are asked to bring their own food or buy at the event.
The first day of sale will be for East Meadow School District residents only. Seating for the trip is limited and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Two tickets are allowed per family.
