East Meadow Kiwanis Collecting Items For Holiday Food Drive
Items can be dropped off at North Shore Fitness Club until Dec. 20.
The East Meadow Kiwanis Club will be collecting food for its Holiday Food Drive, which will be used to assemble holiday baskets for needy families in the community.
Items that the organization would like to be donated include: canned yams, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, gravy, rice, marshmallows, pasta, bottled juices, cereal, tuna fish, peanut butter and Bisquick.
The Kiwanis Club said that it will accept any items that residents wish to donate.
Items can be dropped off at North Shore Fitness Club until Dec. 20.
