East Meadow FD Delivers Gifts to NUMC

Members of the department dressed up as Santa and his elves and distributed gifts to pediatric patients.

The East Meadow Fire Department recently delivered gifts to the pediatric unit of Nassau University Medical Center.

Members of the department dressed up as Santa and his elves and delivered a toy to each child in the pediatric unit.

"The volunteer firefighters brought at least one toy per child, hoping to brighten the day for children suffering from various illnesses," Shelley Lotenberg, the director of public affairs at Nassau University Medical Center said.
