East Meadow Doctor Honored at Breast Cancer Forum
Dr. Latonia Ward of East Meadow was awarded.
Dr. Latonia Ward of Internal Medicine/Nephrology of East Meadow was recently honored at Councilwoman Dorothy L. Goosby's 10th Annual Breast Cancer Forum at the Nassau County African American Museum in Hempstead.
Goosby presented an official Town of Hempstead Certificate of Recognition to Ward and five other distinguished women panelists at the forum.
The women presented information on diagnosis, treatment, prevention, holistic health and support services. Breast cancer survivors were also given the opportunity to share their victory stories.
