East Meadow Bot Scouts recently volunteered with the American Red Cross to help with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
Troop 157 traveled to Nickerson Beach and went around the neighborhood where they gave supplies and support to residents.
The scouts said that the Red Cross and the residents were very appreciative of their help.
