Brooke Gardner of Clarke High School was recently named the grand prize winner in Senator Kemp Hannon's "Best in Town" photography contest.
High school students throughout Hannon’s district participated in the contest, which sought to capture the spirit of the district and surrounding areas through photography.
Students were eligible to submit one photograph from each of the following four categories: People, Places, Animals and Nature.
Gardner was selected as a winner in the Animals category.
