Silly me, I thought Patch would report on the storm, one of the biggest to hit LI in a while. Why doesn't Patch try to cover the Blizzard themselves rather than rely on our photos? Maybe updates about what roads are plowed, who is in danger, etc. Nope, no news here once again.

Roads plowed? What's that?

Oh stop. It is being reported... How do you think any news gets its stories. FROM ALL OF US.........

To Frank T: You stated: Roads plowed? What's that? Yes they were with probably very very few exceptions. Perhaps a side street or dead end where a vehicle was in the way....

You must live on Hempstead turnpike. Even Prospect was barely plowed and there were no vehicles on that road.

You mean to tell me that as of your comment on 12:25 pm on Sunday, February 10, 2013 that Prospect was not plowed... I was on Prospect yesterday late in the morning from end to end and it was definitely PLOWED.......

seriously Paul you have been on every street in east meadow? i doubt it. Most roads are plowed but have been left in such terrible shape it is still difficult to get down some of these streets. Prospect f course its plowed its a main road. Aside from all that i cannot believe what a big deal they are making out of this storm we have had way worse then this ...

....have been left in such terrible shape.....????? I was in many areas yesterday afternoon.... Unless that street truly did not have at least one plow pass you should be able to navaigate through it.....

Not actually paul my street alone has huge ruts left in it. Cars are still hitting bottom and getting stuck. The damn plow drivers also plowed in my drivway after we had dug it out , not just mine but several houses. I kept my car off the road to stop fom hindering the job of the snow plows, but because i live on a "t" street and the road comes drirectly into my driveway the plow drivers think its ok to deposit the snow there.
