Bethpage Federal Credit Union Opens Branch at NUMC

A Bethpage Federal Credit Union branch has opened at Nassau University Medical Center.

Kirk Kordeleski, president/CEO of the Bethpage Federal Credit Union, joined Arthur A. Gianelli, president/CEO of the NuHealth System, at a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday in the medical center's first floor lobby.

"Bethpage has been working with the employees of NuHealth for many years through the Civil Services Employees Association (CSEA) union. Opening a branch in one of their medical centers is a great, natural progression to service employees right where they work," Kordeleski said. "We look forward to working closely with new and existing members in the community, and hope to make banking as convenient as possible for this busy building of professionals."

The branch is located near the Carman Ave entrance in the main corridor of the first floor. It's bilingual and employs six full-time employees; Awilda Chacon is the branch manager.

The branch, the credit union's 15th location in Nassau County and first in a hospital, will provide full service banking convenience, with several tellers and three ATMs, for NuHealth employees, patients, visitors and family members.
