April 6: Animal Dies in Fire, Barnum Woods Virus Update, Vacancy Poll

Some things to keep in mind around the local area.

  1. A dog has died after a house fire on 2434 Martin Ave. on Thursday morning. According to Vincent Scaduto, public information officer of the Bellmore Fire Department, the dog seemed to have died of smoke inhalation. For more on this story, click here.
