April 26: Pride Day Planning, Mommy's Time Out

Here are some things to look out for in East Meadow today.

Good morning East Meadow! There are plenty of things happening today in East Meadow. Parents are craving tomorrow to get their kids back to school, but before that, here's a look at some things going on today.

1. Weather: It's going to be very foggy this morning until about 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise, we are looking at a mostly cloudy day with a high of 73 degrees in East Meadow.

2. The for the 20th annual  East Meadow Pride Day will begin Apr. 26 at 6 p.m.  Current and new participants in the Jun. 11 event should come to the meeting room, located at 745 East Meadow Ave., for an overview and table assignments.

3. Due to the expected beautiful weather, Mommy's Time Out will be holding a in at 1 p.m. This is a great opportunity for children to enjoy the outdoors before heading back to school on Wednesday.
