Here's a look at the things to watch out for in East Meadow today.

Good morning East Meadow! For you high school kids out there, you are probably reading this much later than this was posted due to sleeping late. Don't you miss school? If you do, here are some things to look out for on this Tuesday in East Meadow.

1. Weather: Showers are likely today, mainly between 4-5 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. A high of 56 degrees is expected, and meteorologists are saying there is a 60 percent chance of precipitation.

2. Head on down to the Empress Diner at 7 p.m. tonight for the general . Looking to give back? Kiwanis has plenty of events that help those who really need it.
