April 10: Clarke Students Participate in Competition, Summer Programs at Eisenhower Park

The five things you should know today.

1. W.T. Clarke High School students recently participated in a big competition. Find out which at 10 a.m.!

2. Nassau County recently announced summer programs that will be available to the public. Some programs will be taking place in Eisenhower Park!

3. In case you missed it, Walter P. Griffin is now the new fire chief of the East Meadow Fire Department!

4. The Nassau County Legislature's Democratic Caucus recently issued a press release that stated that they are not happy with Presiding Officer Norma Gonsalves', R–East Meadow, refusal to allow Comptroller George Maragos to appear at the Legislature to discuss millions of dollars spent during Hurricane Sandy.
