The last outpatient session appointment for Thursday at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) in East Meadow and at all five Family Health Centers will take place at 4 p.m. and all outpatient sessions will be closed Friday due to the impending snowstorm and for the safety of patients and staff, according to NUMC officials.
Normal hours for outpatient sessions will resume Monday, Jan. 6, at NUMC and at the health centers.

Employees who are ambulatory providers and do not want to take a benefit day tomorrow, report to the hospital for assignment to ED, the nursing office or other inpatient areas that need coverage. For employees working in outpatient areas who would like to take a benefit day, submit your forms on ITWEB, medical center officials advise.
