#85- Put Your Heart Into Art

Start spring off with inspiring art sessions.

Ever find yourself doodling mindlessly while you should be paying taxes or even feeling slightly jealous of the art lessons that the kids take in school? Perhaps you remember the days when art was at the center of your world. You would spend countless hours painting or drawing, and whether the end product was brilliant was not of great concern. You simply enjoyed the process and took the craft seriously.

Finding classes for adults can be challenging; however, the Garden Art Studio is able to help you with that problem. Lisa Fazio, an artist who has been in the fields of art and interior design since 1979, holds classes for adults. The name of the studio is no mistake, as classes held in the room provide guests with a beautiful view of the garden, making plenty of potential for inspiration.

Do not be afraid that you are not talented enough to take a demonstration class with Lisa Fazio, as she gears the work towards all different levels of learners. To give you a little peek of what is in store at the sessions, the Garden Studio Workshop website states that “A strong emphasis in color and design will expand your technical abilities as well as your creative capacity. Development of personal vision is encouraged with class time primary devoted to demonstrations, painting and critiques.”

The Garden Art Studio also hosts classes for children, in which they work with dry mediums, wet mediums and some three dimensional techniques as well. The class is formulated based on the student body, so these sessions truly have unique components to them. In both the child and adult programs, the importance of individual expression and setting personal goals is really stressed. As an artist at the studio, you will not have to feel as though you are competing with everyone around you. Instead, you are creating your own personal vision of what it means for you to be a successful artist.

To receive information on the demonstrations and class schedules, you must contact the Garden Art Studio via email at TheGardenArtStudio@gmail.com.
