PRPLI to Host “Managing Your Internal Brand” on October 31

Public Relations Professionals of Long Island (PRPLI), the premier organization for public relations, marketing, and communications practitioners, will present “Managing Your Internal Brand” on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. at SUNY College at Old Westbury, 223 Store Hill Road, Student Union, Multipurpose Room, Old Westbury, NY.

Many public relations programs feature valuable information on social media, branding and more.  Public relations practitioners attending PRPLI’s October program will have the opportunity to gain skills on how to empower your employees as brand ambassadors. With the encouragement and trust of senior management, employees can become your company’s most important and loyal brand ambassadors. Our speaker will discuss:

·         The steps your company can take to develop a core of brand advocates—from identifying ambassadors, training them, developing a pilot program, and then launching your advocates on social media

“Managing Your Internal Brand” will feature Jeannette Paladino from Manhattan, owner of “Write Speak Sell,” a social media writer, blogger, coach and project manager. She helps businesses and non-profit organizations to leverage social media to grow their businesses and engage employees as brand advocates. Jeannette also has a specialty in LinkedIn, counseling clients on how to build relationships and get found in searches. She practices what she preaches: Jeannette had one of the top 5% most viewed LinkedIn profiles for 2012.

Her background includes working with clients such as Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Citi, and JPMorgan Chase. She is a former president of the New York Chapter of Public Relations Society of America and winner of the Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications.

“Managing Your Internal Brand” is $55 for non-members, $40 for PRPLI members, and $20 for college students who register. More information is available at prpli.org.
