Town officials have announced that the pool at in East Meadow is now open for the summer season.
The main pool is approximately 18,000 square feet, and the kiddie pool is 2,200 square feet. Each of them can hold 741 and 85 people, respectively, according to Nancy Greco from the Town of Hempstead.
