The Nassau University Medical Center’s department of internal medicine held its 19th annual resident/fellow research day on May 4.
At the research day, held in the auditorium, 75 posters were presented by the various residents and fellows, each with an introduction, a case description, discussion, literature review and clinical significance, along with conclusions.
At the end of the poster presentation, the winners were selected by a team of attending physicians who served as judges.
The first prize for clinical research was awarded to Chengwei Wang for her poster entitled “Occupational risk and angina pectoris disease: A population-based study in the US adult population”
