staff visited with Magnolia Gardens in New Cassel, a Town of North Hempstead’s senior citizen residence, to provide information about the services provided at the hospital and its family health centers in Nassau County.
The presenters highlighted preventive health care programs, cardiac care services, as well as physical rehabilitation services. Magnolia Garden residents were invited to tour and access services that were provided at the Westbury/New Cassel Family Health Center, located a few blocks away from their home.
The NuHealth team was also joined by Dermot Kelly, Executive Director Town of North Hempstead Community Development Agency, Henry Cunningham from the Nu-Cassel Pharmacy as well as representatives from North Hempstead Project Outreach.
